Dual Powder Foundation, Eye Crayon and Lipstick
ModelPrep is a line of cosmetics, which was created to help
women look their best. This line of cosmetics works well for
casting calls, stage appearances as well as every day makeup.
The creator of this brand is actually a model herself, so she
knows exactly what women need in makeup. She created this line
of versatile makeup, which can be purchased in kits to
correspond to your skin and hair coloring. These kits come in
convenient packages so that you have all the tools you need
right in front of you. You can however purchase the products
separately, which is nice because you might run out of some
products before others.
I was able to try out a few products from this line and have
been very pleased with them. The first product I tried was the
Pro-Finish Anti-Oxidant Dual Powder Foundation with Sunscreen.
This product comes in a nice silver compact which has two
compartments, one that contains the actual foundation and the
other has a little circular sponge and mirror. I ordered this
product in soft beige because of my fair skin and auburn hair.
The color blended really nicely into my skin. I tried this
product both wet and dry and really don’t have any favorites
because both ways worked very nicely.
When I used this product wet I just added a few drops of water
to the sponge and then applied it to my face and blended it
in. I found that this product gave me nice coverage without
making fine line and wrinkles stand out. I also found that
this product blended nicely without leaving uneven streaks. As
a dry powder this product also worked well over other
foundations as well as wearing it alone. I really have been
pleased with this compact foundation and would consider
purchasing it again. This product retails for $15.00USD. I
give the Compact Foundation 4 flowers, it applied nicely, did
not sit in fine lines and wrinkles and it was a very versatile
product.
The second product from ModelPrep that I tried was there Eye
Crayon in Toast. This is a lovely milk chocolate brown shade
pencil that applies to the eyes smoothly and lasts throughout
the stay without smudging or wearing off. I really liked how
easily this product applied and how it made my eyes stand out
more. ModelPrep offers this eyeliner in many different shades,
but this color worked very well for me because of my coloring.
I would definitely consider buying this eyeliner again since
it lined my eyes nicely without irritating them at all. The
Eye Crayons retail for $8.50 USD and are a really great buy. I
give the eyeliner 5 flowers because it blended in nicely
without creasing, lasted throughout the day without smudging
and did not irritate my eyes at all.
The last product I tried from ModelPrep was there lipstick in
MM11 Brown. This is a reddish brown shade that really worked
well with my skin tone and hair coloring. This lipstick is a
long wearing; moisturizing lipstick that applies smoothly. I
did like the color and how well it lasted. ModelPrep offers
their lipsticks in many different shades depending on your
skin tone. These lipsticks
retail for $8.50USD.
I have been pretty pleased with my findings from ModelPrep and
would have no problem at all recommending this line to others
to try. The products are pretty reasonable and I think that
the line works well because someone in the beauty industry
created it. This line is not just made for a beauty queen or
for an actress but can also be used by ordinary people like
myself. I almost felt like I was a model while applying these
products to my face because the products matched up to me so
well. These would be perfect products for women just starting
out with makeup because you can order on of their kits for
$125.00USD and this has the essential products you need for
your coloring. So many women do not know what shades to use
and this gets rid off all the guesswork. I would definitely
say that these products are worth a try and would most likely
use them again.
